About

I’m Kesem, a ceramic designer and creative coach.

I’m the owner of Kesemy Design – a ceramic studio in the heart of Amsterdam. A ceramic designer by training, I have been working with ceramics for the past 16 years – designing, creating, exhibiting, and teaching in this field. This experience I now bring to my coaching work where I want to use creativity as a tool to help people move forward in life by working on their creative skills.

I’m working in a non-directive coaching approach, meaning I will guide you in finding your own answers.
You set the agenda and I will be there to support you in this process.
I’m not going to tell you what to do, but I will provide the support, perspective, and tools you need to figure out how you can progress. I work in this way because I believe that you know what is best for you.

I believe that people are resourceful and capable of far more than they imagine. Sometimes all it takes to create change is an effective conversation and the right support and I am here to provide that. I will also help you to develop a plan and take action towards achieving your goals.

Most of my clients choose face to face coaching which takes place in my studio in the centre of Amsterdam. It is a quiet space with no distractions where you can focus on the conversation.
If you struggle to fit in-person sessions into a busy schedule or are not located in Amsterdam, we can also arrange a session via Zoom. For online sessions, it’s best if you can find a time and place where you won’t be interrupted during our conversation and can talk in private.
