During this 2,5 workshop, participants will learn about ceramic tile painting.
You will get two blank bisque tiles measuring 15 x 15 cm, and I will explain the various application techniques. The bisque ware tiles are white, light, unpainted pottery that has been pre-fired and ready for you to decorate. We will use underglaze colors and ceramic pigments, ideal for detailed decoration.

During this 2,5 workshop, participants will learn about ceramic tile painting.
You will get two blank bisque tiles measuring 15 x 15 cm, and I will explain the various application techniques. The bisque ware tiles are white, light, unpainted pottery that has been pre-fired and ready for you to decorate. We will use underglaze colors and ceramic pigments, ideal for detailed decoration.
You’ll have the freedom to express your artistic style, whether it’s by drawing your design or opting for classic styles like Delft Blue or Portuguese tiles. Images, patterns, and designs will also be available for reference and inspiration.
Once your tiles are complete, they will be dipped in a clear glaze, giving it a glossy finish, and then fired in my kiln. You can expect your finished project to be ready for pickup in approximately two weeks. I can arrange shipping if you prefer, although shipping costs are not included in the workshop fee.

Hey there, I’m Kesem!
As a ceramic designer and a Life and Creative Coach, I’ve worked with various clay techniques for the past 20 years, developing a deep understanding of this beautiful medium. Running my clay studio here in Amsterdam, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching countless workshops and hosting fun events for groups. From team-building sessions to party workshops, I’ve done it all!

Nieuwmarkt Metro station- lines 51, 53, and 54 have a stop at this station.
(Exit Nieuwmarkt and Koningsstraat).

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained if you notify us eight days before class begins.
The fee is transferable to another workshop if you inform us eight days before class begins.
