Studio Time: Work on Your Project

In this Open Studio session, you’ll have the freedom to work on your clay projects. With a smaller group size, you’ll enjoy more space and personalized attention.

This session is perfect for those with prior clay experience, especially hand-building, or for those who have attended my workshops and want to continue developing their ideas.

What’s Included:

• A  space to work
• Ceramics tools to use
• About 1 kg of clay (ideal for smaller, focused projects)
• Underglaze colors for decorating your pieces
• Two firings (bisque and clear glaze)
• You can leave your piece to dry and come back for glazing, or I can glaze it for you in clear glaze.

Please Note:

• This session is not intended for production work (multiple pieces or very large projects).
• I recommend newcomers to clay start with my Hand-building workshop first.
• The class is in English and limited to 8 people to keep things relaxed and supportive.

 Meet Your Instructor

Hey there, I’m Kesem,

I’m a ceramic designer and a Life & Creative Coach. I’ve worked with various clay techniques for the past 20 years, developing a deep understanding of this beautiful medium. In my Amsterdam studio, I’ve taught countless workshops and hosted creative events. In my studio, I teach attention, not just technique, using clay as a tool for self-awareness and inviting you to slow down and observe.

I can’t wait to welcome you to my studio and share my passion for clay and creativity.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained if you notify us eight days before class begins.

The fee is transferable to another workshop if you inform us eight days before class begins.

No refund or transfer if you give no notice (‘no show’).

My studio is in the center of Amsterdam,

200 meters from Nieuwmarkt,

100 meters from Nieuwmarkt Metro station and a 10 min walk from the Central station.

Nieuwmarkt Metro station- lines 51, 53, and 54 have a stop at this station.

(Exit Nieuwmarkt and Koningsstraat).
