Create Your Clay Hanukkiah workshop

Craft your unique clay Hanukkiah (menorah) using different hand-building techniques. I’ll guide you through each step and show you how to create your beautiful piece.

You’ll shape your Hanukkah and decorate it using an underglaze color. Once finished, I’ll dry and fire your piece in my kiln, then glaze it with a clear finish.

The Hanukkiah symbolizes the celebration of resilience, faith, and light during Hanukkah. It will be ready for pickup before the holiday so you can enjoy it throughout the holiday.

• The workshop is in English.

• Aprons are provided, but please wear clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty.

• Suitable for all levels. No experience is necessary.

• Please arrive on time or a little early.

• I strongly encourage you to register, as each class is limited to 10 people.

• I offer a relaxed and supportive environment.

Cost

The price for the 2.5-hour workshop is 55 euros, including all materials, tea, and cookies.

What’s included in the price?

Clay, use of studio tools, underglaze colors, clear glaze, and two firings to complete your pieces, tea & cookies.

Hey there, I’m Kesem,

As a ceramic designer and a Life and Creative Coach, I’ve worked with various clay techniques for the past 20 years, developing a deep understanding of this beautiful medium. Running my clay studio here in Amsterdam, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching countless workshops and hosting fun events for groups. From team-building sessions to party workshops, I’ve done it all!

200 meters from Nieuwmarkt,

100 meters from Nieuwmarkt Metro station and a 10 min walk from the Central station.

Nieuwmarkt Metro station- lines 51, 53, and 54 have a stop at this station.

(Exit Nieuwmarkt and Koningsstraat).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained if you notify us 7 days before class begins.

The fee is transferable to another workshop if you inform us eight days before class begins.

No refund or transfer if you give no notice (“no show”)
