In this Clay wall mobile workshop, you will create your design for a beautiful wall mobile decoration.

It will be a great addition to your home interior, adding a touch of craft and creativity.

We will start with the design; you will sketch and work out the plan and make the different pieces in hand building technique.

And in the second part, you will decorate them with colors. We will use underglaze colors and ceramic pigments, which are ideal for detailed decoration.

Once completed, your project will get dry in my studio for a couple of days, and after the first fire will be dipped in clear glaze to give it a shiny look and fired for the second time in my kiln.

Your project will be ready for pickup in two weeks. Once it’s ready, you can finish it in your own time by adding the strings and connecting the pieces.

Meet your instructor

Hi, I am Kesem, a ceramic designer and a Creative Coach.

I’ve been working with Clay for the last 20 years. I run my Amsterdam Clay studio, making small-batch ceramics collections and working B2B with European shops.

 I have been teaching for 20 years. I gave different clay workshops and hosted many groups for their team-building events and party workshops at my studio in Amsterdam.

So, I bring my rich experience with Clay and creativity to every workshop. 

I am looking forward to seeing you in my studio.

Location: Kesemy design studio in Nieuwmarkt area

Cost

The price for the 2.5 hours workshop is 55 euros, including all materials, tea, and cookies.

Directions:

My studio is located in the center of Amsterdam – 200 meters from the

Nieuwmarkt, 100 meters from Nieuwmarkt Metro station, or a 5-min walk from the Central station.

Nieuwmarkt Metro station- lines 51, 53, and 54 have a stop at this station

(exit Nieuwmarkt and Koningsstraat).

From Central Station Amsterdam – one stop with the Metro and a 200-meter walk.

If you are coming by tram, the closest stop is Waterlooplein. The 9 and 14

stops there, an 8-min walk from there.

If you are coming by bus, the closest stop is Prins Hendrikkade. Buses 22, 34, 35, 48, 391, 392 stop there.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained if you notify us eight days before class begins.

The fee is transferable to another workshop if you inform us eight days before class begins.

No refund or transfer if you give no notice (‘no show’).
