A relaxed, hands-on clay course perfect for complete beginners or anyone wanting to deepen their hand-building skills.
In a small, friendly group, you’ll learn the fundamentals of working with clay and create your own pieces step by step.
**People who have already taken my course are very welcome to join again and continue working on their own ideas. I’m always teaching and introducing new techniques, and I love sharing new insights and knowledge each time.
What We’ll Do
Session 1: Slab-building, Learn the basics of working with slabs.
Session 2: Coiling, Explore structure, form, and building with coils.
Session 3: Free Work, Explore what you want — follow your ideas and create a piece you feel inspired by.
Session 4: Decoration & Glazing, Learn how to decorate and glaze your finished pieces.
What Can You Make?
Plates, vases, planters, cups, sculptures, or any other idea you have — one piece per session.
What’s Included in the Price?
Clay, Use of all studio tools, Glazes, and underglaze colours, two firings to finish your object.

Meet Your Instructor
Hey there, I’m Kesem! I’m a ceramic designer and a Life & Creative Coach. I’ve worked with various clay techniques for the past 20 years, developing a deep understanding of this beautiful medium. In my Amsterdam studio, I’ve taught countless workshops and hosted creative events — from team-building sessions to party workshops.
I can’t wait to welcome you to my studio and share my passion for clay and creativity.

Cost
The price for the 4-session course is 195€, including all materials, tea, and cookies.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained if you notify us eight days before class begins. The fee is transferable to another workshop if you inform us eight days before class begins. No refund or transfer if you give no notice (‘no show’).

100 meters from Nieuwmarkt Metro station and a 10 min walk from the Central station.
Nieuwmarkt Metro station- lines 51, 53, and 54 have a stop at this station.
