My handmade collection, cast from liquid clay and paired with carefully catalogued grasses and leaves, each brush is unique. Delicate yet intentional, they’re more than tools — symbols of creativity, curiosity, and the joy of making. Somewhere between sculpture and ritual object, they invite you to explore, imagine, and bring a touch of handmade into your space.

These brushes are not for traditional painting.
This collection started with a single brush — a symbol, a tool, a beginning.
Brush It Off brings together several years of exploring the creative process through handmade ceramic brushes—each one I cast from liquid clay and paired with grasses and leaves.
Every plant in this work holds something of the ground it came from. Some I picked myself while travelling — gathered from different places and times. Each one is carefully catalogued, a quiet record of where it was found and the moment it was collected.
The project began with a spontaneous impulse: to shape a brush. That impulse grew into action, then into design. These brushes, made from clay and plants, aren’t intended for traditional use. They’re not for painting, but for imagining. They function as symbols of process, curiosity, and creative instinct.
Somewhere between tool, sculpture, and ritual object, they blur the line between thinking and doing—between function and artwork.
Brush It Off Collection
You purchase a small piece of the process, shaped by hand and rooted in nature. Each piece is made with care, curiosity, and a mindful touch.
Materials: Ceramic and natural grasses I’ve collected and catalogued.
Display: You can hang it on the wall or display it.
Care: Handle with care; the natural materials are delicate.
Keep away from water, heat, and direct flame. To clean the ceramic part, gently wipe with a damp, soft cloth.
For the grass “hair,” lightly remove dust using a soft brush or a gentle stream of air. Avoid moisture or cleaning products.
The brush hairs are made from grass, leaves, and other organic materials. They’re naturally delicate, and over time they may change. They’re quite strong, but still living materials that evolve with time.
If your brush begins to fall apart in the future, I can do my best to repair it—refunds aren’t possible. It’s a living artwork, and part of its story is how it changes over time.
